Just heard about the Hunger Site.
Click on the button marked 'feed the hungry'. It's free to you, and for each click at least a cup of staple food will be donated to someone starving.
It works because companies place banner ads on the site, which actually pay for the donations. The more ads they place on a day, the more is donated per click you do.
Last year the site generated something like 2,500 tonnes of food, which makes a huge difference for the sake of a click a day.
US based, so 30% of the proceeds do go to recipients in the US, but the remaining 70% go to countries including Ethiopia, Somalia etc.
It will only register one click per day on each computer, so don't bother sitting there at work all day doing it. :o))
