Xbox 360 question
I've been looking to replace my TV unit for ages, because it's the last remaining piece of ultra-cheap Argos "beech effect" furniture in my lounge. :o)

Finally found a contender (I want a fairly traditional, dark wood, corner cabinet.. no one else does at the moment it seems), but the two shelves it has would mean the 360 needs to lay horizontally rather than stand vertically.

Are there any reports of this causing problems? I know at release there were some complaints about it scratching discs, but it seems like this was when it was moved from vertical to horizontal with a disc inside. I've googled and can't find major issues but just wondered if anyone here has heard of any?

It's fine, as long as you stand it on the right side - i.e. don't do anything daft like trying to stand it with the hard disk on the bottom.

Just don't move it while it's switched on and has a disk in the tray.
