SE's Journal Right knowledgable types. Mum's replacing her ten year old TV. She's looking at widescreen LCD HD ready* TVs. In Currys etc, she has noticed that when rugby was on, on some LCD screens the players legs were ghosting when they ran fast. She mainly watches sport, especially football, and doesn't want this to happen. Is this a problem with LCD in general, or just certain makes? She would probably lean towards Toshiba. She's not looking at plasma, so it's LCD or regular widescreens.... Any ideas? I'm still using my cousin's 12 year old 24" Sony which is going strong so not up on TVs. :o) p.s. I am however using paper to make 32 and 37" screen cutouts, to prove to her that 37" in her small lounge would be daft. * Apparently Sky is going HD this year, in time for the world cup, hence wanting HD ready.
